At Eliza Christoph, we believe in the deeply embedded principle of running a profitable business in order to make a meaningful and sustainable difference to the communities that sustain us. The Eliza Christoph philosophy centers on the high-quality design and construction of clothing with a commitment to sustainable manufacturing and ethical practices while fostering positive, lasting change in our artisans’ communities.

We set up the Eliza Christoph “EC” foundation with the purpose of supporting women and girls in African communities where our artisans live and work. We are focused on improving the quality of life for women and girls, in Kenya and other African countries, by sponsoring skills training that benefits women in our artisan communities.

The foundation financially supports women's sewing academies in Kenya that provide clothes-making training, leading to lifelong career opportunities. Once graduated, women can dramatically increase their earning potential, providing support for themselves, their families, and communities.

Our goal is to expand the foundation’s mission to include support and funding for enhanced skills training, improved job opportunities, and community infrastructure projects.
